Bed & Breakfast Isidorus is an authentic timbered house in Grönebach, in the district of Winterberg. Grönebach is situated in Sauerland, the land of a 1000 mountains.

You can start hiking from the farm and enjoy the wonderful nature in the Rothaargebirge with the famous Rothaarsteig. Or you can go mountain biking at the Bike Arena Sauerland. Also for motorcyclists Sauerland has a lot of beautiful routes to offer, with rural roads and captivating views.

We like to hike and cycle a lot in Sauerland ourselves. From our experience we can give you a lot of good tips for young and old.

Winterberg is known as the biggest connected skiing area of North Germany. 21 lifts and 30 downhills are at your disposal.

From the farm you don´t have to go into busy Winterberg, because the first lift of the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg is less than 4 kilometres away. We have been ski instructors for years now at ski school Der Brabander in Winterberg, a Dutch-speaking ski school for young and old.

In summer we work at Erlebnisberg Kappe and in the Kletterpark, a climbing park for young and old. It is a real challenge to sit on a sledge in the trees, or to swing between the trees like tarzan.

But summer has much more to offer, because a lot of ski lifts are also used in summer, like in the bikepark, the mountainboard park and at the tubing track.
